Amen. And also those look like fun pens and stationery to use…

Wow so much golden nuggets in this piece Molly! The comparison game is real and it’s encouraging to know that we aren’t called to be perfect, we’re called to be present. And that our presence is enough.

I’m the mom who makes the sourdough bread but does not get in the pool! And it’s funny that I wish I was the mom who was more fun.

I get that! It’s always so easy to compare

Loved this! I'm absolutely not the mom who jumps in the pool and I always feel bad when I compare myself to other moms... Thanks for the reminder that we all bring our strengths to the table and are met with grace and growth!

Comparison is so hard! But yes!! We are what our families need. And it’s a good reminder that we need those people with different strengths and skills as friends too 🤗

I read this and kept thinking wow. What is it with the sourdough that reflects back and makes us feel small? Haha. I wrote this a bit ago and wanted to share because the comparisons are so similar.

It’s a neat thing when God weaves two totally different hearts towards the same ideas. Love how you shared this with such simple honesty🤍

Excited to read! Personally I feel like sourdough is a representation of some higher standard of care like you didn’t just buy the bread you made it and it’s a sign of being healthy, more caring, and having time for activities like that. For some moms I think it genuinely is restful. But if I have extra time on my hands I won’t be baking bread. 🥲
